What is hypnotherapy?

The state of hypnosis is like a doorway between the conscious and subconscious areas of your brain.  In a hypnotic state you can access memories, creativity and beliefs.  You have direct access to the power of the subconscious as the deep relaxation you experience encourages the conscious part of your brain to take a step back.  In this way you can bypass any limiting beliefs of the conscious mind, such as “I can’t do it”, and ask your intuitive self “how can I do it?” instead. Throughout the treatment sessions you will feel a sense of comfort and calm.

The field of hypnosis, the use of self-hypnosis, and the practice of hypnotherapy all have one theme in common - to make your life better than yesterday. Hypnotherapy fulfils your desire for change; you want to feel better, learn more, think faster, feel less pain, lose weight, stop unhealthy habits, change the emotional responses to the events in your life, and improve the quality of your life.

Combining the access to the subconscious with modern therapeutic techniques is the essence of hypnotherapy.  Through properly oriented hypnotherapy, you will come to understand your own role in your recovery because hypnotherapy encourages you to participate in your own cure.
